About the Role
HSDC is seeking a Lecturer/Teacher of Automotive Studies to deliver inspiring teaching, learning, and assessment, ensuring excellent student success and progression. You will collaborate with a passionate team in a well-equipped college, with offerings including Entry Level, Levels 1 and 2, T Levels, and Apprenticeships, both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering high-quality teaching, leading to excellent attendance, retention, and achievement.
* Conducting formal scheduled teaching, tutorials, and student assessments.
* Monitoring and recording student progress using College information systems.
* Preparing learning plans, schemes of work, and undertaking administrative duties related to teaching.
* Attending parents' evenings, marketing, and promotional events.
Requirements
* Level 5 or equivalent teaching qualification such as Certificate in Education or PGCE, or willingness to work towards it.
* High level of specialist knowledge in the subject area.
* At least 2 years' teaching experience in the subject area (Desirable).
* Degree in relevant subject (Desirable).
