Job Title: Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Dukinfield
Salary: GBP 44,500 : GBP 47,000
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days) and alternate Saturday mornings
Shift: 5am:3pm
Overtime: Available and paid at 1.5X
Benefits: Half year and end of year bonus* (*discretionary, OTE GBP 600 each period), PPE and relevant equipment provided, Auto enrolment on company pension scheme (5 employee / 3 employer), Flexible working patterns available i.e. M:F and 1 in 2 Saturdays or Mon:Thurs one week and Tues : Fri the next, with Saturday mornings as required on the Friday working week. Mobile HGV Technician opportunity
My client, a well:established fleet maintenance company with depots across the North West is actively seeing to employ an experienced and qualified Mobile HGV Technician to be based in Manchester. You will be based out of the Dukinfield area covering customers in and around the surrounding area
Key Responsibilities of the Mobile HGV Technician
: Required to undertake all aspects of maintenance, routine servicing, mechanical inspections and MOT preparation across a range of HGV's and trailers
: This is a varied role working directly on our customers fleets at on site clinics
: You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include tractor units and rigid commercial vehicles.
: Whilst this is a mobile role there may be some depot based work as the business needs dictates
: Attend daily onsite clinics that start at 5am
Required Skills and Experience for the Mobile HGV Technician role:
: Experience gained working within the commercial vehicle sector
: In order to qualify for the role, the successful Mobile HGV Technician will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds).
You must have detailed experience as an HGV Mechanic and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles. : Any experience of working at onsite clinics would be an advantage
: Welding and Auto Electrical experience would be beneficial but not essential
: Full UK driving licence is required
