About the Role
The post holder will have extensive knowledge of property related issues and in particular grounds maintenance, window cleaning and communal cleaning contracts to provide advice and assistance to customers/stakeholders to help them maintain their properties. Key to success is ensuring excellent customer service is provided whilst achieving great value for money.
Reporting to the Asset & Compliance Supervisor, the Service Charge Co-ordinator will work collaboratively with contractors and colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality services within our properties, ensure they are well maintained and contribute to the delivery of the Encircle Operating Plan objectives. The post holder will develop good working practices by providing information, which can be used in improving and influencing company systems, workflow and Key Performance Indicator metrics.
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing all recharge works. This includes close collaboration with the Maintenance and Compliance Surveyors, Housing Managers and external contractors to ensure that all necessary works are identified, appropriately scoped, approved and executed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Our ideal candidate will have:
· Excellent level of knowledge of property related service charge provision.
· Understanding of responsive repairs
· Successful track record of delivering similar services for grounds maintenance, window cleaning and communal cleaning contracts.
· Ability and presence to be proactive and work on own initiative, with limited supervision, and be able to supervisor manage contractors.
· Ability to plan, organize and prioritize a heavy workload.
· You will have 2 + years post qualified experience working in similar role.
· Awareness of delivering service charge contracts.
· Excellent standards of customer care and the ability to deliver accurate and clear communications in writing, face to face or by telephone
· It is a requirement of this role to demonstrate empathy with tenants with complex care & support needs.
· You should have a willingness to learn and change, to adapt your style to suit situations, and impact well on others
· Have the courage to challenge the system, and to disagree without being disagreeable
