Due to promotion and retirement within the service we’re advertising an exciting opportunity for two Band 7 Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Team Leaders, for our Complex Needs Team and Mainstream Schools Team. The Speech & Language Therapy Service is going through a period of transformation and you have the chance to take a key role in leading this change, supported by senior management. * Provide clear professional leadership, governance and operational management to the teams.

Qualifications
* HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
* Recognised qualification as a Speech Therapist
* Evidence of relevant post graduate training
* Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
* Clinical supervisor training
* Interview/recruitment training
* Research and development awareness and/or experience
Skills
* Significant post-registration experience in a community setting
* Experience of working collaboratively with other disciplines/agencies and across organsiational boundaries
* Extensive knowledge of safeguarding
* Excellent leadership skills
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire others
* Ability to manage and assess risk appropriately
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
