A 3 form entry Primary School in the BS4 area is looking for a Class Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
This Primary School is passionate about supporting their pupils and the wider community. They are a very supportive team of staff, for your own professional development but also providing an inclusive and creative curriculum to develop children academically.
The Role
You will be joining the school as a Year 1 Class Teacher working alongside another 2 teachers, planning and delivering creative and enthusiastic lessons, engaging the children in indoor and outdoor activities.
You will be required to work on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year with a high potential to continue into September..
You will be expected to:
* Be creative and work collaboratively with other KS1 teachers to plan fun lessons.
* Have a clear understanding of the KS1 framework and expectations.
* Have a range of positive behaviour management skills.
* Have a great understanding and knowledge of Phonics.
* Plan activities inside and outside of the classroom.
* Be enthusiastic to develop the children socially, physically and intellectually.
