Electrician / Electrical Engineer
Location:Inverness or Fort William (regular travel required)
Salary:From £35,000 per annum
Hours:Full-time, 40 hours per week + 1 in 3 weeks on call
Be Personnel is delighted to be supporting our client with the recruitment of a skilled and self-motivatedElectrician / Electrical Engineerto join their Engineering Team. This role supports Freshwater farms and Recirculation Units and offers the opportunity to work autonomously in a dynamic and growing environment.
The successful candidate will carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical work, ensuring all plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all Freshwater sites
* Maximise uptime and performance of all plant and equipment
* Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programmes
* Advise Farm Managers and Area Managers on engineering improvements
* Plan, cost, and deliver site upgrades and engineering projects
* Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and actively promote site safety
* Maintain clean, safe, and organised working environments
* Manage spares and inventory to minimise equipment downtime
* Support budget control and provide cost-effective engineering solutions
Ideal Candidate Profile
You will have a strong, multi-skilled engineering background and a proactive approach to continuous development.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years industrial experience
* Recognised, time-served Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent
* SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or similar qualification
* BS 7671 (18th Edition) certification
* Computer literate, including spreadsheets and general software
* Full UK Driving Licence (or willingness to obtain support available)
* Ability to work independently across multiple sites
Desirable:
* Periodic Inspection & Testing (2391-52 Level 3) qualification
* Experience within aquaculture, industrial, or similar environments
