Maintenance Delivery Lead
Our operator client is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Delivery Lead on a long‑term PAYE contract based in Aberdeen. Hybrid working is available (4 days office based and 1 day working from home).
Overview
Responsible for the coordination and delivery of asset maintenance and services‑based activities. Operationally responsible for the repairs function and processes, which includes the reporting and auditing of the repairs process. Own the CMMS and drive improvements and efficiencies within the system. Deliver and develop maintenance optimisation and improvement strategies for the asset, maximizing maintenance delivery lifecycles to support mid/late life operations. Identify, assess and exploit opportunities to improve the current efficiency of maintenance effectiveness. Deliver PSV and valve maintenance, including repairs, recertifications and new supply.
Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Operations
o Provide maintenance support to the operations team.
o Ensure safe, productive and reliable maintenance execution.
o Implement maintenance improvements including processes and procedures.
o Maintain compliance with the Safety Case and all relevant offshore legislation.
o Plan and deliver long, medium and short‑term maintenance.
o Accountable for delivery of key operational contracts in operations and maintenance.
* Maintenance
o Execute maintenance and inspection work while achieving maintenance KPIs.
o Implement maintenance and reliability programmes and drive continuous improvement.
* Budgetary
o Manage operating expenditure and the relevant budget area.
* Supply Chain and Logistics
o Effectively manage key contractors and ensure adequate asset support through contract delivery performance.
Interfaces
* Production Optimization, Supply Chain, Logistics, Drilling and Wells teams.
* HSE Executive and BEIS as required.
* JV Partners.
Required Competences / Qualifications / Experience / Profile
* Relevant university degree or senior level experience with an oil and gas operator.
* Strong HSEQ leadership qualities.
* In‑depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, CMMS, MRP’s and best‑practice strategies.
* Offshore supervisory or managerial experience (e.g., Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor).
* Background in Electrical, Instrument, Mechanical or Process Engineering.
* Direct experience in maintenance processes, planning, execution, service delivery and contract management.
* Experience in shutdown or turnaround management and delivery.
* Experience in operational readiness, handover acceptance and start‑up of new production facilities.
* Adaptable approach to support continuous operations.
