The post holder will assist the Regional clinical lead to support and manage clinics to achieve group objectives and comply with corporate strategy, using the corporate framework to support the principle of the right of people to limit the size of their family.

Main duties of the job
* Support the coordination of care delivery within clinical services.
* Assist in managing the clinical team(s) to deliver safe and effective patient care.
* Promote, support, and deliver safe and efficient abortion and related services in line with the Abortion Act 1967, Department of Health RSOPs, and medical guidelines across our acute day care treatment centres.
* Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.
* Support development of clinical practices to meet national and local strategies and guidance.
* Provide leadership in family planning and sexual health care, developing Nurse Led services.
* Support the development of systems, processes, and procedures.
* Work closely with the Regional Clinical Lead to ensure a seamless, patient-focused service that meets CQC regulations, NUPAS standards, and promotes service growth.
* Provide leadership and management support to the wider clinical team.
* Support and develop Nurse Led Clinics, including workforce planning and educational development.

Job responsibilities
* Support care coordination within NUPAS clinical services and assist the Regional clinical lead in managing clinics to meet objectives and strategic principles.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory training requirements across the region, managing concerns locally before escalation.
* Provide induction, training, and support to new staff, aligning development with NUPAS competency frameworks.
* Conduct appraisals to identify development needs and support learning through the appraisal process.
* Manage own workload in line with NUPAS's vision and values.
* Engage in supervision and development to keep clinical knowledge current.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Part 1) or Registered Midwife.
* Experience in sexual health, TOP, or gynaecology services.
* Qualifications in nurse education, Faculty of Reproductive Sexual Healthcare (FSRH) competence in intrauterine techniques, recognized prescribing qualification, and ultrasound experience in early pregnancy.
Experience
* Effective communication skills and ability to handle challenging situations sensitively.
* Teamwork and leadership skills, with experience in multi-disciplinary settings.
* Experience with Patient Group Directions and IT systems for data management.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post requires a DBS check due to its nature under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975.
£26 per hour, 4 days per week, 9.5 hours per day, including one Saturday per month.
