We have an excellent opportunity within our Centralised Operational Resources Team for a Resources Deployment Planner. This position is based in the Network Rail ROC at Ashburys in Manchester. The Operational Resources team is responsible for the rostering of all front line colleagues which includes Driver, Conductor, Stations and Revenue grades. The rostering of our front line colleagues includes allocating and issuing daily rosters, managing annual leave, over time, pay queries, absence and release for training purposes whilst also maintaining associated records and files in a timely and accurate manner. You will be responsible for compiling and distributing daily and weekly rosters that fall in line with the Rostering and Manning Agreements, Terms and Conditions, Control of working hours and Weekly Time legislation. You will also be required to assist the Senior Resource Manager in the preparation and distribution of periodic reports and general management information for train crew planning.
