Protocol Education is partnering with top schools in your area, seeking dynamic individuals eager to develop their personal skills while fostering students' abilities. Our partnered schools offer hands-on training and continuous support from experienced staff once you join their community. In this role, you will aid students aged 4-11 in their social, emotional, and academic development. If you have experience with children or a caregiving background, this teaching assistant position might be your next ideal step. This long-term opportunity offers full-time hours.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to learners on a 1:1 or small group basis
2. Serve as a positive role model in the classroom
3. Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and learning activities
4. Build positive relationships with staff, learners, and families
5. Work harmoniously with other team members
6. Approach each day with enthusiasm and dedication
Requirements:
1. Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and fostering a love for learning
2. Desirable but not essential: Experience in working with children or in a childcare setting
3. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
4. Confidence and motivation to guide individuals/small groups in their learning
5. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
6. Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
