We are delighted to be partnering with a forward-thinking specialist educational setting in Derby, catering to children and young people aged 4-19 with autism and associated learning differences.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teacher to join their inspiring team from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional looking to make a genuine impact on the lives of pupils through a bespoke and enriching curriculum.
Your Role:
As a Specialist Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, individualised learning experiences within a nurturing and structured environment. Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure that pupils are supported both academically and emotionally in their journey towards independence and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver personalised lesson plans tailored to individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Implement autism-informed teaching approaches, including sensory integration and communication strategies.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports engagement and progress.

Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to promote a holistic approach to learning.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
