Technical & Audit Manager

TPA Liability Desktop Claims Technical and Audit Manager


As a Technical & Audit Manager, you`ll prepare and manage our technical requirements for quality reviews, prepare cases for internal review, and provide details to clients both internally and externally.

Additionally, you`ll take responsibility for undertaking internal audits to include telephony and file reviews, highlighting trends, and providing training and technical referrals for the team.

You will also be responsible for the oversight and management of the claims reviews for high profile clients and cases so a focussed attention to detail is important – you will be responsible for the quality management, output and reporting of the team for liability, disputed proceedings, litigation and also be able to provide advice on complex loss claims.

The role also involves a reduced caseload of desktop claims for a high profile client.

The skills you will have when you apply:

1. Thorough knowledge of current case law, common law/statutes, and regulations.

2. Insurance qualifications are desirable, but relevant experience is equally valued.

3. Strong team working and collaboration skills.

4. Good understanding of insurance law and policy wording interpretation.

5. Knowledge of contract, statute, and civil liability.

6. Strong investigation skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to work with corporate clients, small businesses, insurers, and brokers.

8. Influencing skills to gain agreement on proposals and ideas.

9. Effective listening and empathetic response skills.

10. Clear and concise communication skills.

11. Motivation to provide prompt, efficient, and personalized service to both external and internal customers.
