About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bench Hand Joiner to join my clients woodworking team. The successful candidate will assist in the production and assembly of high-quality timber products, ensuring precision and attention to detail on the workshop bench.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Prepare materials for production, including sanding, planing, and fitting
* Maintain a clean and organised workbench and workshop area
* Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience as a bench hand or in a similar joinery role preferred
* Basic understanding of woodworking tools and machinery
* Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work
* Willingness to learn and develop joinery skills
