Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised, 1:1 support in GCSE Maths for students with SEN/SEMH needs. These in-person sessions in Slough offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
* This job is in-person in the Slough area
* Day(s): Weekdays
* Time(s): During school hours
* Hours: 1 hour per week
* Subject and Level: GCSE Maths
* Start date: As soon as possible
* Contract Length: 10 weeks
* Rate of pay: £32.50 p/h
What You'll Do
* Provide 1:1 tuition that is appropriate for the individuals needs and study level
* Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
* Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
* Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
* Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
* A Bachelor's degree
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
* Experience working with students with SEMH is required
* An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The right to be self employed in the UK
