We’re looking for a Waste Operative 2 with practical knowledge of cleansing and maintaining outdoor environments. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our frontline services and helping to keep our streets and public spaces at their best.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a hardworking and supportive team, carrying out a range of environmental maintenance and cleansing duties. Although training may be available, experience or qualifications in the following area are desirable:
* Use of handheld machinery such as:
o Pedestrian street sweepers
o Strimmers, hedge trimmers and air blowers.
* CPC Driver qualification (essential)
* Full driving license – Class 2 HGV preferred.
* Experience operating mechanical brushing equipment.
* Needlestick training.
* Asbestos awareness.
* First Aid at Work.
* Manual handling training.
Working Hours
Tuesday to Friday 6:45am – 4:30pm.
