Business Development Executive / SDR – Fintech/regulated markets
Location: Nottinghamshire (hybrid – 1 day/month on site)
Salary: £40,000 + Commission

What you’ll be doing
You’ll support the commercial growth of the business by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to strategic business development initiatives. This is a hands-on role with clear support and training from senior team members. It would suit someone with prior experience in a commercial or B2B sales environment – ideally within or close to a regulated industry (finance, insurance, legal tech, etc.).
Key responsibilities
Research and identify potential new clients across target markets.
Support inbound and outbound lead generation activity.
Build strong client relationships through consistent communication and discovery.
Assist in preparing tailored proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements.
Attend industry events, webinars, and networking sessions to build brand visibility.
Work closely with marketing and product teams to align messaging with market needs.
Use CRM tools to track activity, maintain client data, and report progress against KPIs. About you
Commercially minded with a keen interest in fintech or financial services.
Previous experience in business development, telesales, inside sales, or partner support.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident working in a metrics-driven environment and eager to meet targets.
Organised, curious, and proactive – someone who enjoys solving client problems.
Any exposure to compliance, regulatory frameworks, or finance-led tech products is a bonus. Why join?
