We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our pharmaceutical clients Engineering team. Reporting to the Senior Production Engineering Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliable and compliant operation of manufacturing and packaging equipment within a GMP-regulated facility.
What you’ll be doing:
* Maintaining, fault finding, and repairing production equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
* Applying Good Manufacturing and Engineering Practices in all aspects of your work.
* Developing, reviewing, and updating procedures, job plans, and standards.
* Implementing preventative, runtime, and reactive maintenance strategies.
* Supervising external contractors and equipment vendors.
* Planning shutdowns, assessing critical spare requirements, and managing workloads.
* Supporting deviation investigations, corrective and preventative actions, and change control.
* Advising on equipment selection and commissioning new machinery to meet design intent.
* Collaborating with production, technical, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.
