Theyre seeking an ambitious and results-driven Head of Sales to lead and significantly grow their new 'Able to Pay' (ATP) sales department. This is a pivotal role for a visionary leader who thrives in a fast-paced, direct-to-consumer environment and is eager to build a high-performing sales operation from its early stages. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy for the 'Able to Pay' market segment, focusing on accelerated growth. Direct-to-Consumer Sales: Lead the direct sales efforts for our core product offerings, including Solar (with battery storage), Air Source Heat Pumps, and insulation, directly engaging with customers across the UK. Product Expansion: Oversee the expansion of the department's sales portfolio to encompass all eligible measures under the ECO4 scheme. Sales Growth: Drive and achieve ambitious sales targets and KPIs, particularly focusing on rapid growth. Team Building & Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage a growing team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. Market Insight: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the UK renewable energy and home improvement sectors. Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional customer journey from initial contact through to sale completion. About You: Proven Sales Leadership: A strong track record of success in sales management, ideally within the renewable energy, home improvement, or a related direct-to-consumer sales environment. Growth Mindset: Demonstrable experience in driving significant sales growth and building sales teams from the ground up. Direct Sales Expertise: Proficient in direct-to-consumer sales methodologies and customer engagement. Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Solar, Air Source Heat Pumps, and insulation products is highly desirable. Knowledge of the ECO4 scheme is a significant advantage. Self-Starter: Ability to hit the ground running, take initiative, and operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
