Role and Responsibilities
* Driving a 26 tonne curtainside vehicle
* Transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, both locally and long-distance
* Experience of fridge vehicles preferred but not essential
* Nice easy and clean work, little if any handball on any roles
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip
* Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
* Maintain accurate records of driving hours and Work Time Directive (WTD) compliance
* Promptly report any incidents or accidents to the client
* Keep detailed records of deliveries and pickups
* Provide exceptional customer service
Your Qualifications
* Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence
* Possess a current CPC card
* Work independently and efficiently
* Communicate clearly and professionally
* Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence with no DR or DD offences
Working Hours and Pay
* Monday to Friday
* Earn between £16 and £20 per hour
* Receive paid time off
