Contract :Inside IR35 Rate:- £27.20 ph umbrella Location:- Gaydon, UK The Role Reporting to the Chapter Lead - Kinetic Energy Management, you will take ownership of road load generation, analysis, and certification support across vehicle programmes. Key Responsibilities Generate road load data to support engineering and certification gateways Support compliance for global markets (including WLTP / Regulation 154) Lead road load analysis activities and oversee coastdown testing Develop and manage plans to meet road load certification timelines Act as the key point of contact for KEM-related queries across programme and certification teams Analyse simulation and test data to identify and drive efficiency improvements Work closely with cross-functional teams including: Aerodynamics Weights Performance, Economy & Driveability Certification and Programme teams Define requirements for prototype vehicles and test facilities Support development of tools, processes, and methodologies within KEM Represent kinetic energy attributes in cross-functional discussions Skills & Experience Applicants should be educated to Degree level (ideally with a focus on Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering) or Higher Technical Qualification with relevant industrial experience. Good understanding of vehicle engineering and architectures Highly numerate with ability to analyse large, complex data sets. Good interpersonal skills and ability to form cross-departmental relationships. Good planning and programme management skills An individual with the ability to prioritise their workload.
