Reed is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Shipley, our client is seeking a Sales Coordinator to act as a key point of contact for all customers and provide support to theexternal sales team. This role is essential in ensuring that customer-related activities are handled with the utmost professionalism and efficiency, adhering to current business standards.
Day to Day of the role:
* Maintain all aspects of the sales process and order cycle, including quoting, order entry, order confirmation, and reporting on order progression.
* Collate and calculate costs and information to support quotations.
* Record all customer quality claims and follow up on missing data to resolve any outstanding issues, communicating progress and corrective actions until resolution.
* Communicate potential delays or issues affecting our ability to meet customer order confirmations to all affected parties.
* Manage account data accurately and continuously within key systems such as SAP and Microsoft Teams.
* Take ownership of duties and seek problem resolutions using appropriate resources in a timely manner while minimizing cost impact to the company.
* Support additional sales activities such as shows, exhibitions, events, or site tours where applicable.
* Build and improve working relationships with customers through knowledgeable communication.
* Provide administrative support to the wider sales team, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of internal, external, and upward reporting.
* Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office suite.
* Positive attitude, presentable, good interpersonal skills, determined and goal oriented.
* GCSE level education or comparable qualification.
* Fluency in written and spoken English
* Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
