The Role

As an Inventory Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimising our inventory operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations and based in our Cardiff dispensary, you will be responsible for managing stock levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring seamless supply chain processes. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting our commercial, brand, and regulatory teams.

You’ll be:

* Analysing consumer data to review historical sales trends and forecast future buying patterns.
* Monitoring costs and managing stock plans to ensure optimal inventory levels.
* Preparing and issuing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, and reconciling invoices upon receipt of goods.
* Reacting to marketing activities and learnings to support future planning.
* Acting as the key point of contact for Commercial, Brand, and Regulatory teams regarding supply chain enquiries.
* Collaborating with the Brand team to implement packaging and product design improvements for enhanced customer experience.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, industry standards, and ethical guidelines in collaboration with the Regulatory team.
* Supporting execution of new product development (NPD) and existing product development (EPD) plans.
* Continuously improving processes and administrative functions to streamline operations.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, addressing any concerns promptly.

We’re looking for someone who has:

* Extensive experience in inventory management, supply chain, or procurement.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast trends.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

It’s a bonus if you have:

* Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
* Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance in supply chain management.

Our benefits include...

* Share options.
* 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing to 30 the longer you stay with Numan).
* Health insurance with Vitality.
* Enhanced maternity and parental leave.
* Nursery benefit provided by YellowNest.
* Employee assistance programme (access to therapy, financial planning and discounts).
* Generous pension (includes both employee and employer contributions).
* Flexible working options, including a dog-friendly office in Farringdon.
* Personal training and development budget via Learnerbly.
* Wellhub membership, giving you access to over 2,000 locations in the UK.
* Free office snacks including breakfast items, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
* Cycle to work scheme.
* Season ticket loan.
* Discount to Numan products for your friends and family.
* Paid volunteering days.
* An additional 2 weeks off once you reach your 5th anniversary with Numan.
