Position Purpose
You'll direct the creation of value through supply chain applications through quality, performance, and value-driven governance, aligning the supply chain platforms function across the business to promote and facilitate optimisation, stability, security, and efficiency.
We use elements of both the Blue Yonder and JDA product suite, so prior exposure to these platforms is essential.
You will be responsible for managing Brambles' supply chain technologies and teams, as well as staying informed about external market innovations. The Supply Chain Platforms Lead is accountable for the day-to-day execution of platform services including development, data governance, support, and strategic direction. You will evaluate and monitor all supply chain services, ensuring they create business benefits through resilient, responsive, and stable platform usage for our global user base. Collaboration with the wider TS organization on demand and delivery metrics is also key.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide leadership by setting clear objectives, defining supply chain platform services, strategies, and roadmaps, and communicating effectively.
* Partner with business leaders to shape strategy, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that enhance financial effectiveness and supply chain services.
* Develop best practices and foster a culture of service excellence across Technology Services, Data & Digital, and Supply Chain teams.
* Establish performance metrics to support operational objectives of supply chain platform services.
* Provide technical coaching and influence global technology adoption.
* Maintain strong partnerships with platform support and development teams, ensuring application consistency, scalability, and security.
* Manage vendor/partner relationships through performance metrics and action plans.
* Act as the escalation point for incidents across supply chain platforms, ensuring process improvements post-incident.
* Collaborate with platform teams to identify areas for continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with internal governance, policies, and processes.
* Develop organizational structures to enable initiative delivery.
* Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a technically proficient team.
* Implement an effective risk management framework for the supply chain platform.
* Deliver initiatives on time, within budget, and according to success criteria.
Experience
* Extensive experience managing or influencing technical staff and change projects.
* Proven success in supply chain design, strategy, and linking business platforms to organizational objectives.
* Strong experience with manufacturing, logistics, and freight processes.
* Experience with supply chain applications support, implementation, and delivery.
* Experience managing SaaS applications and cloud-native services (AWS, Azure).
* Experience migrating to new or existing supply chain platforms (e.g., JDA, Blue Yonder).
* Leadership of remote, cross-functional teams across multiple continents.
* Strong relationship-building and executive influence skills.
* Understanding of financial management, business case development, and budgeting.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to establish strategic, operational, and technical decision-making functions.
* Experience with governance, risk, and controls frameworks for supply chain platforms.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
* Master's degree preferred.
