Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial management of the organisation. This position requires proficiency in accounting software, including Sage, as well as a strong understanding of financial accounting and services.
Duties
* Strong Liaison with company Directors on all financial matters
* Accurate and timely administration of monthly payroll on Brightpay – UK AND ROI
* Monthly & Year end PAYE/NI returns for HMRC and Revenue Commissioners Ireland
* Weekly and monthly Journals
* Purchase Ledger management & monthly payment run
* Sales Ledger management and customer account reconciliations
* Management of monthly bank reconciliations to include Merchants Accounts – Multi Currency
* Credit Card Analysis & Payments
* Statutory returns
* KPI and specific financial reporting on a weekly, monthly and annual basis for Directors
Qualifications
* Proven experience in financial accounting or a similar role within the financial services sector.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage and Brightpay, is highly desirable.
* IT literate, experience in MS Office packages including strong Excel skills
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial management principles.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative in independent tasks.

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
