About the Role:
Join JMS Metaltec, a fast-growing sheet metal subcontract manufacturer, as a Manufacturing Administrator / Production Planner. This role combines administration, production planning and technical support within our engineering office. You'll be working daily with Excel spreadsheets, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering drawings, while also receiving full training in Amada nesting software.

Key Responsibilities:
* Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) from customer drawings, breaking down assemblies into component parts and processes.
* Analyse material requirements across BOMs to group jobs into efficient bundles, balancing sheet utilisation with kitting practicality.
* Nest parts for cutting in Amada software, including adding tags, etching and optimising sheet utilisation.
* Maintain scheduling spreadsheets with up-to-date bundle data.
* Liaise with buyers, programmers, and production staff as required.
What We're Looking For:
* Good Excel skills (comfortable working with structured spreadsheets).
* Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Analytical, process-driven mindset with problem-solving ability.
* Organised, structured, and comfortable working with deadlines.
* Experience in manufacturing/engineering admin, production planning, or CAD is desirable (but full training will be provided).
