Facilities Technician Location: Lisburn Salary: £39,000 - £41,000 (weekly paid) Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pmWe are working in partnership with a leading, highly successful manufacturing business to recruit a Facilities Technician to join their engineering team in Lisburn.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation with continued growth, strong investment in people, and a modern manufacturing environment.The Role Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of all site facilities, minimising downtime and supporting overall operational efficiency. You will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across buildings, utilities, and site services.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance across all company facilities and utilitiesPerform routine maintenance on systems including HVAC, compressors, fire alarms, emergency lighting, plumbing and electrical systemsComplete maintenance records accurately in line with H&S and ISO requirementsConduct regular health & safety inspections and implement corrective actionsLiaise with and supervise external contractors on siteMaintain adequate stock of spare parts and componentsCarry out minor mechanical, electrical, plumbing and joinery repairsSupport installation work and site modifications as requiredPerform PAT testing and basic electrical installationsAssist with continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance processesTravel occasionally to other UK sites (Birmingham & Huddersfield)The Person We are keen to speak with candidates who have:Time served electrician qualification (17th or 18th Edition)Experience working in a facilities or maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong all-round maintenance skills (electrical, plumbing, general building repairs)PAT testing experienceAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsDesirable:Mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ/ONC/OND or similar)Experience in inspections and testingWhat's on Offer31 days annual leave (increasing with service)Life assuranceHealth cash planEmployee recognition schemesLong service awardsStaff discounts (up to 50%)Employee referral schemeOn-site parkingAccess to corporate discounts If this role is of interest, click apply or reach out to INDKYSkills:FACILITIES TECHNICIAN ENGINEER ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE REPAIRSWHJS1_NI
