SEN Complex Needs Teaching Assistant - Primary Provision
BradfordFull-time position and Part-time
Are you a patient, resilient and compassionate practitioner with a passion for supporting children with complex needs? We're recruiting a dedicated SEN Complex Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary provision in Bradford.
This is a full-time role starting asap, supporting pupils who require tailored, consistent and nurturing support to help them thrive.
About the Role
You will be working within a specialist SEN provision supporting primary-aged children with a range of complex needs. Your responsibilities may include:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support
* Assisting pupils with communication, sensory and emotional needs
* Supporting children with challenging behaviour using positive, consistent strategies
* Helping to create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
* Supporting personal care routines where required

* Experience supporting children with complex SEN needs (school or care setting)
* A calm, patient and proactive approach
* Strong behaviour-management skills
