The core functions of the role are to support the Operational Manager in the successful delivery of services in line with contractual obligations and in accordance with ACT’s Operational Business Plan.
Responsibilities
* Line manage Senior Practitioners, Intensive Support Officers and Volunteers.
* Support the Operational Manager in monitoring the performance of the service and in compiling data to meet reporting requirements.
* Ensure adequate staffing cover and develop measures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service.
* Manage, motivate and deploy a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented and staff are guided, supported and challenged through supervision.
* Ensure resources are deployed effectively, including supporting activity delivery in line with the agreed budget.
* Collate success stories and evidence impact to demonstrate good practice and positive outcomes.
* Liaise with external agencies, facilitate multi-agency meetings and build effective working relationships with other agencies.
* Promote and represent Anglia Care Trust to the highest level to maintain the organisation’s reputation as a trusted provider in the Domestic Abuse sector.
Qualifications and Skills
* Ability to manage, motivate and deploy a team of staff and volunteers effectively.
* Experience in supervision and development of staff and volunteers.
* Strong collaboration and relationship-building with external agencies and stakeholders.
* Ability to deliver activity in line with budget and reporting requirements.
