This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance and administration professional looking for a new direction in 2026. The role will support the development, coordination and delivery of our PEACEPLUS Making Peaceful Change Programme, managing finance and administration for a diverse portfolio of participation projects, training programmes and events that create meaningful social impact. Finance • Working closely with the Finance Director to ensure the effective delivery of The Playhouse PEACEPLUS Programme - Making Peaceful Change. • Administer all invoices and payments for all services and supplies for the project, ensuring that the project adheres to both PEACEPLUS and The Playhouse internal financial procedures. • Work within the project team and project partners, managing budgets, monitoring costs, producing accurate forecasting, maintaining accurate records; raising purchase orders and processing transactions in accordance with the grant award. • Submit progress and finance reports and prepare funding claims to PEACEPLUS and any other appropriate bodies. • Prepare and submit cash flow forecasts to PEACEPLUS and the Playhouse Board. • Effectively use SEUPB’s electronic management system. • Monthly Bank Reconciliations, Project Journals - Sage Accounts. Procurement and Programme Delivery · Monitor contracting for all artists, facilitators, designers, managers, placements and others to facilitate the successful implementation of the PEACEPLUS Making Peaceful Change Programme. · Prepare, issue and maintain procurement documentation. · Support Programme Staff to procure and obtain all external services and supplies required to facilitate the successful implementation of the PEACEPLUS procurement guidelines. · Support Programme Staff to ensure that all agreed objectives, milestones & targets are met for the Making Peaceful Change programme. · Support Programme Staff to monitor the project. Coordinate and minute meetings of the Making Peaceful Change steering group. · Compliance Implement The Playhouse’s statutory responsibilities and procedures in respect to insurance, employment, equal opportunities, child / vulnerable adult protection, data protection, health & safety and other appropriate areas. · Undertake routine office duties associated with project control. Data Management and Evaluation · Assist in the wider evaluation and data capture to ensure PEACEPLUS Arts & Peacemaking Portfolio programme meets the PEACEPLUS strategy targets and The Playhouse Strategic framework. · Working with Development, Community Relations and wider Playhouse colleagues and partners, to contribute to PEACEPLUS funding and evaluation reports. · Ensure PEACEPLUS Arts & Peacemaking Portfolio data is managed in accordance with The Playhouse Data Management and GDPR policies. · Work with external evaluators to gather data and provide access to records as needed.
