Dayshift Mechanical Engineer – Stirling
Overview
As a key member of the Engineering & Maintenance team, you’ll support production by maintaining plant equipment and ensuring safe, reliable operations on site.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and preventative mechanical maintenance across production plant and building services.
* Support the reactive maintenance team with breakdowns when required.
* Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations, including completing risk assessments.
* Support installations and commissioning of new equipment.
* Contribute to continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and 5S to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
* HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or completion of a Level 3 apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
* Proven mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
* Strong skills in maintaining plant equipment including conveyors, rotating machinery, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
* Process oriented, self‑directed and autonomous, with the ability to work as part of a greater team.
* Excellent communication skills and computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
