This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a commercially impactful finance role in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.This position would suit a qualified accountant with experience in a commercially driven finance role, ideally within an FMCG, retail, or consumer product setting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of working cross-functionally with commercial teams, along with the ability to influence decision-making and drive performance through robust financial analysis.Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the Sales Director and senior commercial stakeholders to support delivery of functional strategy and business performance
* Own and lead the commercial P&L, providing governance and insight across c.£100m in cost base
* Maximise return on investment across joint business plans, promotions, and trade spend
* Lead the performance management cycle, including period close, forecasting, risks & opportunities, and action planning
* Coach and mentor junior finance team members, supporting the ongoing development of talent
* Maintain strong financial control and governance within commercial operations
* Deliver high-quality financial analysis and insight to support operational and strategic decisions
Who We’re Looking For:
* Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong commercial finance experience
* Demonstrable ability to business partner with senior commercial leaders
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
* Experience of working in a fast-moving, high-volume environment
* Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience managing P&L responsibility
