As a 1:1 Instructor, you will move beyond general classroom assistance to provide intensive, personalised support. Your day:to:day will involve:
* 1:1 and Small Group Mentorship: Driving academic and personal development through focused, individual attention.
* IEP Implementation: Delivering bespoke Individualised Education Plans and meticulously tracking progress milestones.
* Positive Behavioural Support: Utilizing empathetic strategies and reinforcement to manage emotional and social challenges.
* Holistic Collaboration: Partnering with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure a 360:degree support system for the student.
* Environment Crafting: Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and sensory:aware learning space.
Ideal Qualities:
We are looking for an adaptable professional who understands that progress is measured in small, meaningful victories.
* Experience: Previous work with children, specifically within the SEND sector.
* Compliance: A Child DBS currently on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Insight: A strong grasp of diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
* Character: Exceptional communication skills, a patient temperament, and the resilience to thrive in a dynamic setting.
