Vehicle Technician Needed in Bury
1. Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
2. Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (no weekends)
3. Salary: Up to £40,000 basic (depending on experience)
Our client, a well-established independent specialist garage, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
4. Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of vehicles
5. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
6. Perform vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
7. Conduct suspension, brake, and general mechanical work efficiently and accurately
8. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
9. Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
10. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
11. MOT testing licence (preferred but not essential)
12. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
14. Full UK driving licence
