An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic band 6 nurse to join Burlington Ward, specialising in Diabetes and Endocrine at Worthing Hospital.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse with a strong clinical knowledge base and relevant skills. The post holder will provide nursing support within the 18-bed mixed-sex ward to acute patients with various conditions in medicine. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual eager to make a difference.
The successful candidate will require a passion for teamwork and a commitment to providing the highest standards of patient care. The role involves working a shift pattern covering days and weekends.
Applicants should have sufficient experience at band 5 and a passion for supporting a team to maintain high standards of care. Flexibility and confidence are essential.
We offer development programmes, supervision, reflective practice, mentoring, and coaching to support you in your new role.
If you are motivated, possess good communication skills, and are organized and flexible, we would love to hear from you.
The post includes supporting the ward sister with effective management of the area, deputising in their absence, and providing nursing leadership to ensure quality and safety. Responsibilities also include supporting budget management, staff performance, and developing the team to ensure seamless service delivery.
We welcome applications from those with UK NMC registration. If you hold an overseas qualification and require sponsorship, please note we are not currently hiring internationally qualified nurses.
