An exciting opportunity has been created within Youth Support to provide open access support to young people of Bridgend.
The successful candidate will manage one of our youth centres within the county, leading a team of youth workers and ensuring the delivery of a needs-led provision that aligns with the five aims in the Youth Work Strategy for Wales.
The roles may involve a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 evenings per week, with occasional weekend work. Possession of a full valid driving license is desirable.
The post involves working in various settings, including street-based environments, as dictated by service needs.
Proficiency in greeting customers in Welsh is required for this position.
Protecting children, young people, or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced DBS check, including the Children's Barred List, is required for this role.
A valid driving license and weekend working availability are essential requirements.
