Exciting Opportunity for HIL Test & Verification Engineer in the Automotive Sector
Join our client in Gaydon as a Contract HIL Test & Verification Engineer, working within the dynamic field of vehicle systems. This fixed-term role is ideal for professionals with a passion for automotive validation and verification.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing test cases within Steering System HIL, operating HIL rigs, and correlating virtual models with real-world data using tools such as DSPACE, XPACK4, MATLAB, and Simulink. You will characterise steering systems, generate reports, and liaise with internal teams to meet test requirements.
Ideal candidates possess extensive HIL testing experience, a solid background in Vehicle Dynamics, and expertise with mechatronic systems validation. Programming skills and knowledge of AGILE methodologies are essential, along with a BSc or MSc in Engineering or Data Science.
