Who You Are The Council is seeking a Strategic Finance Business Partner with prior knowledge and experience in overseeing the revenue side of the Housing Revenue Account (HRA). As this is a critical time for the Council, you must be able to hit the ground running and collaborate with both finance and service colleagues to update and maintain the HRA 30-year Business Plan. What the Job Involves The role requires overseeing the revenue aspects of the Housing Revenue Account (HRA), working closely with the Head of Finance and the Capital Finance Business Partnering Team. You will ensure that revenue implications of acquisitions, developments, and works to stock are integrated into the HRA’s financial strategy and monitoring positions. As the fiscal year closes, you will support year-end activities and the preparation of notes for the statement of accounts. You will manage two Assistant Finance Business Partners, supporting their development and mentoring, and be expected to spend a minimum of one day a week in the office as part of the hybrid working model.
