Hours
10 hours per week.
Work Pattern
Monday – Friday 6.30am – 8.30am.
Hourly Rate
£13.33 per hour.
Duties
* Carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls, etc.
* Report to the Cleaning Supervisor.
* Use a buffing machine to clean floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls, etc. in line with a pre‑determined schedule.
* Act as a key‑holder where required and maintain building security.
* Monitor cleaning standards in accordance with specification / COSHH regulations and report any difficulties to management.
* Remove refuse and dispose of waste appropriately.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates identified after the selection event process will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, to ensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale the applicant may be withdrawn from this position.
Canvassing of elected members or employees of South Lanarkshire Council directly or indirectly in connection with any appointment within the Council disqualifies the applicant.
Foreign police check where applicable for any periods living or working abroad; candidates should be able to detail any gaps in employment.
