Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Drug & Alcohol Recovery Services)
Band 7 (or Trainee under Annex 21)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced ANP to join the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services (DARS), covering Lochaber, Wester Ross, Skye, and Lochalsh.
In this role, you will provide direct patient care, clinical leadership, supervision, and advice to DARS nursing staff, ensuring evidence-based care within localities.
Applicants should hold an ANP qualification and have experience with addiction treatment. Non-medical prescribers with relevant experience may be considered for a trainee post under Annex 21 of Agenda for Change.
You will work closely with similar roles across North Highland to ensure robust local pathways and service development in Lochaber, Skye, Lochalsh, and Wester Ross.
The location is flexible within NHS Highland boundaries, with some work potentially delivered via assistive technologies like Attend Anywhere and MS Teams.
A relocation package may be available.
The current shift pattern is Monday to Friday, with plans to develop a North Highland-wide seven-day service, which may include some unsocial hours and weekends.
