Data Engineer/ Machine Learning Engineer (MLE)- Python £650-£750 pd via Umbrella Initially for 6 months with long term potential Fully Remote based A global company is expanding its team and hiring multiple Data Engineers / Machine Learning Engineers. You'll help design and deploy data pipelines, ML models, and production systems that deliver real-time insights and automation throughout the business. This role is ideal for someone with strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on data experience, and a passion for building scalable, high-quality ML and data solutions in production environments. Essential Experience Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.). Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation. Hands-on experience with Machine Learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience working with data manipulation and large datasets. Proven experience developing and maintaining production-level codebases. Experience with any public cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Desirable Experience Experience with Kubeflow, Airflow, or dbt. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
