The Senior HR Director partnering with the VP, LC-MS Business Segment and VP, EMEA Commercial and their organizations is responsible for working with the organization to identify, develop, and deploy talent strategies to drive divisional, team, and functional strategies for growth. Talent is the biggest priority for this role, as the successful Senior HR Director helps business leaders leverage talent for growth, increasing innovation, and overall organizational and team effectiveness and productivity. The successful candidate can envision the talent enablers of high performance and anticipate the gaps in skills and capabilities before the business and create the plan to close these gaps. This role is highly collaborative across the assigned business area and the HR function proactively bringing the right resources to the table to deliver outcomes that will drive strategic and financial outcomes. Given the highly complex and geographically dispersed nature of the business remit, this role will partner across the HR team to ensure the right resources are brought to the table to enable effective and timely outcomes. The Senior Director of HR will also be responsible for interfacing with external parties to represent Waters and stay abreast of local market trends, setting future strategy accordingly. Reporting to a VP of HR, this role will be responsible for developing and executing human capital strategies and activities that enable growth, innovation, and overall organizational effectiveness. Additionally, this individual will drive corporate-led initiatives including change management. This role will be based out of our Wilmslow site and will be a hybrid role (3 days per week on site). Deeply understands current and future talent in both commercial and product development organizations. Spends time with top talent and ensures top players are deployed and low performers are addressed. Proactively consults with executive and senior leaders in areas of organization design and succession/development to advance future capabilities and growth and development of leaders and key talent. Regularly develops, monitors and updates workforce plan in partnership with business leaders, talent management and talent acquisition ensure robust talent pipelines of both internal and external candidates. Understand and is fluent in HR domains outside of HRBP to effectively consult with business with a total human capital view and bring right HR resources to help solve problems for assigned area. Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts, working with leaders to identify and act on gaps impeding achievement of desired business or human capital outcomes. Consults with business leaders on talent, leadership, business strategy/transformation, organizational development and effectiveness, diversity & inclusion, workforce optimization and change management. Anticipates changing market trends and identify and leverage leading and best practices / trends to influence the business and HR agenda Leads and implements business specific projects and initiatives to deliver on specific business requirements and outcomes Viewed as a business partner, change agent, and member of both the line leadership and HR team Provides counsel and coaching to leadership and manages overall business relationship on behalf of HR and regularly communicates business priorities to COE HR stakeholders. Undergraduate degree and 15 years of relevant experience Proven ability to proactively translate changing business objectives to effective HR strategies; specific experience needed in Organization Design, Talent Management, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Change Management Strong client relationship management skills and demonstrated experience in developing consultative relationships with executive leaders.
