What You'll Do
1. Build and grow relationships with suppliers and customers.
2. Negotiate buying and selling deals to maximise profit.
3. Spot market opportunities and act fast.
4. Manage orders from purchase to delivery.
5. Keep up to date with prices, trends, and competitor activity.
To source, purchase, and sell food products (meat or Seafood) in domestic and/or international markets, ensuring profitability, compliance with regulations, and the development of strong supplier and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities

7. Negotiate purchase and sales contracts for food products.
8. Identify and develop new business opportunities with suppliers and buyers.
9. Monitor market trends, prices, and competitor activity to maximise profit margins.
10. Manage stock levels, orders, and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
11. Market Analysis
12. Research global and regional food market conditions.
13. Analyse supply, demand, and price fluctuations to inform trading decisions.
14. Prepare regular reports on market developments.
15. Relationship Management
16. Maintain and grow relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.
17. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to network and gather market intelligence.
18. Compliance & Quality
19. Ensure all transactions comply with food safety standards, import/export regulations, and company policies.
20. Work closely with quality assurance teams to resolve any product or shipment issues.
21. What We're Looking For
