Biology teacher
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Contract: Temporary (with potential for long term opportunities)
Pay/rate: £130 - £200 per day (dependent on role)
Start date: Flexible
Your role
At term time teachers we are looking for an experienced Biology teacher to teach and inspire pupils in an exceptional science department in Tunbridge Wells. This is a great opportunity to inspire children and contribute to their academical progress within biology.
Your responsibilities
* Plan and mark work timely, producing relevant feedback to the children to support their academic progress.
* Teach science through a variety of creative lessons and practical's.
* Create awe and wonder in line with the biology curriculum.
* Monitor children's development and assess their ongoing progress.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching physics in UK secondary schools.
* Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
