Pipe Fitter - Commercial Industrial Southall, UB2 4NA. 12 Month contract position - which may lead to further work. Shift: Sunday - Thursday 8 hours per day 40 hours per week. The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food processing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations, planned and preventive maintenance, environmental services and many other engineering services associated with the food and beverage industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial industrial pipe fitter to join the facilities engineering division, supporting a major facilities maintenance contract in Southall UB2 4NA. Duties As a suitably qualified pipe fitter with industrial and commercial installation experience you will be working on site at an existing food production facility in Southall, UB2 4NA. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain the building services and process pipework as necessary to ensure services are not interrupted. Typical duties will include isolating then removing damaged, blocked or obsolete water, steam and process pipe work, for example 2' up to 4' schedule 40 stainless steel, flanged and stainless steel mapress pipework. Other duties will include replacing valve sets, identifying then repairing water leaks to air and steam lines along with some commercial plumbing works usually copper, plastic and screwed steel pipework. About You Based ideally in Southall you will need to live within a commutable distance of UB2 4NA as no travel or accommodation costs are covered for this role. Demonstrable experience of industrial / commercial pipe fitting preferably within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment. Ideally NV3 Level 3 or JIB Qualified in a pipework related qualification. Interested?
