Harnham is excited to be working with a leading global retailer that is looking for a data-driven SEO Manager to take ownership of their organic search strategy, driving traffic and revenue growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious SEO professional to make a significant impact within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
THE ROLE:
As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy for a key site/brand, working closely with the SEO Lead and wider digital team. Your focus will be on improving site architecture, content management, and implementing best-in-class SEO techniques to enhance performance. Key responsibilities include:
* Owning and optimising SEO performance to increase organic traffic and revenue.
* Collaborating with the SEO Lead to develop and execute the SEO roadmap and strategy.
* Conducting keyword research and resolving technical SEO issues.
* Managing a team, conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and providing mentorship.
* Monitoring site KPIs and driving data-led decision-making.
* Identifying opportunities for growth and implementing innovative SEO initiatives.
* Leading SEO link-building campaigns in collaboration with PR teams.
* Staying ahead of industry trends and best practices to continuously refine strategy.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Proven hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role with a strong technical background.
* Experience working in a similar role with a high-street retailer ideally.
* Experience managing SEO for a site that generates revenue through consumer traffic.
* Expertise in keyword research, technical SEO, and link-building strategies.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure SEO performance and impact.
* Experience with SEO tools such as Botify, Pi-datametrics, and Google Search Console.
* Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership experience.
* Passion for SEO and a deep understanding of online marketing trends.
