Summary of the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join our team as a Technical Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, managing inbound enquiries, overseeing orders, and providing outstanding customer service. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining our CRM system, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient order processing. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing repairs and servicing customer drones, requiring technical proficiency and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Management:
* Respond to inbound enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Qualify leads by gathering and analysing customer requirements.
* Schedule consultations and product demonstrations.
* Maintain accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align on lead generation and service delivery.
* Liaise with technical teams to stay updated on product features, advancements, and market trends.
* Share customer feedback to improve products and services.
* Order Management:
* Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Manage order fulfilment, including picking, packing, and dispatching products.
* Track shipments, communicate shipment updates and resolve delivery-related queries.
* Handle order enquiries and resolve any issues.
* CRM Management:
* Ensure up-to-date and accurate customer information in the CRM system.
* Generate reports and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities.
* Ensure data integrity and accuracy and propose process improvements.
* Repair and Service Management:
* Manage the repair management system, logging incoming repairs and tracking progress.
* Diagnose and repair customer drones, utilising technical skills and knowledge.
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing on drones.
* Communicate with customers regarding repair status and estimated completion times.
* Customer Service:
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
* Handle customer complaints and escalations in a professional manner and with a solution-focused approach.
Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
* Proven experience in a customer service or operations role desirable.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly. Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, fostering long-term, productive collaborations.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Technical aptitude and experience with drone technology is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
