An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Duty Manager to join our clients state-of-the-art sports facility, based in the heart of South Kensington. This facility serves the university students and staff as well the local community and includes a sports hall, climbing wall, swimming pool, squash courts, state-of-the-art-fitness gym, exercise studio and sports therapy rooms. This is a customer facing role, and as such the successful applicant must be ready to communicate with a diverse range of customers and demonstrate a strong commitment towards ensuring excellence in customer service and enhancing the customer experience and ensuring that all areas work in accordance with Departmental and Imperial requirements and agreed standards. What you would be doing The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Centre including effective leadership, management and support of Recreation Assistants and Gym staff; supporting the management of the pool plant room operations, ensuring regular maintenance tasks and checks are undertaken according to set schedules; be responsible for the Health and Safety of all staff and users of the facility; and ensure that the highest standard of customer service is always delivered.
