About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and detail-driven FP&A Manager to join our growing fintech team. This role is central to driving financial insight and business performance in a fast-paced, data-centric environment. You will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making across product, technology, and commercial teams. Your work will directly influence our growth strategy, capital allocation, and overall financial health as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Financial Planning & Forecasting: Own the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy and market dynamics.
* Partner with Business Units: Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and commercial teams to provide financial insights, track performance, and support strategic initiatives.
* Build and Maintain Financial Models: Develop dynamic financial models to support scenario planning, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
* Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze key financial metrics and KPIs, track budget vs. actuals, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
* Support Strategic Decision-Making: Provide financial input for new product launches, customer acquisition strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
* Cash Flow & Capital Planning: Monitor cash flow, runway, and capital needs, particularly relevant in a venture-backed or growth-stage fintech environment.
* Board and Investor Reporting: Assist in preparing materials for board meetings, investor updates, and fundraising activities.
* Drive Process Improvements: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, tools, and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
* Ensure Financial Integrity: Collaborate with accounting and compliance teams to maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus.
* 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
* Prior experience in SaaS, fintech, or a high-growth tech environment is highly preferred.
* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
* Proficiency with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar).
* Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) is a plus.
* Strong quantitative skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
* Deep understanding of SaaS models and metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, LTV, CAC, etc.), and growth drivers.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior leadership.
* Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with product, operations, and executive teams in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines.
* Working in a dynamic, evolving business environment with competing priorities and rapid change.
