Role overview

Location: Worcester Six Business Park, WR4 0AD

Salary: £17,133 per annum + Overtime

Working hours: Monday - Friday Afternoon Shift 11.45 am – 5.00 pm

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (26.15 hours per week)

About the role

Role Overview:

To provide a professional and dedicated reception and security services to our site customer in Worcester. The role will require the Front of House Receptionist to perform tasks as specified to create a safe and secure working environment for all visitors and staff, whilst always ensuring good customer service is provided whilst doing this. You will be responsible for CCTV monitoring and therefore should hold a valid SIA Licence.

There will be requirement to cover the morning shift as and when required for holiday and sickness. This includes a Monday - Friday Morning Shift (07.00 am – 12.15 pm) pattern. What you'll do:
1. Answer switchboard in an efficient and professional manner
2. Greet visitors ensuring all names and details are logged and recorded in the visitor’s book on reception and notifying the appropriate EMCOR UK member of staff. All visitors must have appointments and be accompanied at all times.
3. Assist with maintaining the Premier House telephone extension list and ensuring all appropriate staff are provided with an up to date copy.
4. Update notice boards with internal announcements and current vacancies. Ensure all notice boards are kept tidy.
5. Ensure that security processes regarding the access of staff and visitors into Premier House are adhered to.
6. Keep a close view of the premises car park and advise members of staff or visitors if they have parked inappropriately.
7. Assist with meeting room bookings, ordering refreshments and making tea and coffee, when required.
8. Develop an understanding of EMCOR UK in order to improve personal contribution to the company and all staff interacted with.
9. To carry out as requested any other office duties, which are normal custom and practice
10. CCTV monitoring and surveillance
Who you'll be:
11. Proven experience in a customer facing role, including good communication skills
12. Hold a valid SIA Licence (CCTV monitoring would be advantageous)
13. Good IT skills including Microsoft Packages such as Outlook, Word & Excel
14. Be flexible to cover additional shifts when required to support wider Front of House team
