Job Advert - P6 Planner (Civils) - Central Belt, Scotland Are you an experienced P6 Planner looking to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK engineering and civils contractor delivering high–profile infrastructure projects across the Central Belt of Scotland. As a key member of the planning team, you’ll play a crucial role in developing, monitoring and optimising project programmes across a portfolio of complex civils works. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineering teams, commercial stakeholders and site personnel to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. Produce tender programmes and support bid activity with robust construction methodologies. Track progress, identify delays, analyse impacts and implement mitigation strategies. Provide clear forecasting, scenario analysis and critical path reviews. Support risk and change management processes, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. Coordinate with site teams, design, commercial and delivery teams to ensure programme accuracy. Prepare regular programme updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders. About You: Proven experience as a Planner within civils, infrastructure or construction. Strong Primavera P6 capability, with the ability to build programmes from first principles. Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies and site operations. Comfortable engaging with multidisciplinary teams and presenting programme information. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
